Yes, 100%. Security is our primary design principle. Because Cloud Trader Pro is hosted on your own private cloud VPS or local computer, all API keys, client credentials, and access tokens are stored locally on your own machine. We have no access to your credentials, no centralized databases, and never see your trades.

Since the server runs directly on your own dedicated local machine or private VPS, all order requests originate from your own unique IP address. This completely avoids the compliance complications of multi-client shared hosting and ensures your setup complies with broker API IP guidelines.

Cloud Trader Pro operates on a decoupled server-native architecture. All strategy calculations, trailing stop-losses, and target exits run directly in the server's background process.

• If hosted on a Cloud VPS: Closing your browser, turning off your laptop, or losing your local device connection will not affect active strategies; the VPS server continues executing trades autonomously.
• If hosted on a Local PC: The host computer must remain turned on and connected to the internet. If your local PC shuts down, its internet goes offline, or you close the server process (by closing the terminal window or Docker application by mistake), the server cannot track positions or execute exits.

You can deploy this application to AWS, Google Cloud, or any cloud VPS. You can also host the application on a local Windows, macOS, or Linux machine. Since the server initiates outbound API calls to brokers, a standard home dynamic IP works perfectly. If you wish to access your local dashboard securely from outside your home network, you can use our built-in Cloudflare Tunnel integration (running via a single Docker command) without needing to configure port-forwarding or request a static IP from your ISP.

Exchanges block raw market orders for index options due to low liquidity. To ensure your order fills instantly without slippage, the Scalp Terminal automatically converts 'Market' orders into buffered limit orders (e.g. +5% above LTP for BUY, -5% below LTP for SELL, capped at 20 points). This secures your fills while shielding you from erratic price spikes.

The Strategy Builder lets you construct custom multi-leg options strategies (like spreads or iron condors) directly from the live option chain. It calculates margin requirements, shows live Greeks (Delta, Theta, Gamma, Vega), and lets you execute all legs simultaneously as a single basket.

To prevent broker margin spikes and Risk Management System (RMS) rejections, the system routes multi-leg orders (like straddles or spreads) sequentially rather than concurrently. Furthermore, when closing or rolling over positions, the engine employs a 'Short-First Sorting' protocol—closing short/sell legs first (via buy orders) to release blocked margin before closing long/buy legs.

No. The VWAP and Straddle engines are provided strictly as customizable technical templates. We do not provide trading tips, signals, or pre-set fixed strategies. You must backtest your parameters, set your own risk thresholds, and configure your own rules before running live.

Yes. The Backtest Lab allows you to run simulations against historical options data. This lets you evaluate how your custom rules, target payouts, and stop-loss configurations would perform before deploying them in the live market.

A scheduled system task (DAILY_CLEANUP) runs automatically late at night. It calls perform_daily_cleanup(restart_after=True), which clears global caches, resets broker sessions, and resets active strategy states (for example, clearing active straddles, position histories, and reentry counts). Finally, it restarts the server cleanly so that you start the next trading day with a fresh slate.

If you trade positional (NRML) contracts and disable Auto EOD Exit, the contracts remain active in your broker account overnight. However, the nightly daily cleanup task will still run and clear yesterday's in-memory session data.

This means the strategy will not track or manage that open position on the next day—you must manage or exit it manually. Because the active strategy resumes on server startup with a clean session, it treats the next day as fresh, resolves new strike prices, and places a brand new straddle entry.

We regularly release platform updates and bug fixes. The app features a one-click auto-update mechanism, and you will receive a notification as soon as we release a new update. If you encounter any bugs, you can report them directly using the built-in option in the app.

For custom services (strategy builds), once we hand over the custom strategy to you, any bugs or operational issues found in the agreed features are fixed completely free of cost. If you want to add new features later, they will require a new agreement and pricing.

When a new version is released, an update notification prompt will appear directly on your dashboard. You can trigger the update with a single click by clicking the 'Update App' button on the About or System Settings page. The server automatically coordinates with Watchtower to pull the latest container image and restart cleanly.
